Civil Aviation Minister Mohamed Abbas held on Sunday a meeting with representatives and heads of Egyptian private aviation companies to discuss ways of developing them in the coming period.
In a statement, Abbas noted that the Civil Aviation Ministry is keen to offer all forms of support to Egyptian companies to enhance their role in the air transport system.
The meeting touched on ways to offer incentives with the aim to lure more investments to the air transport sector.
The minister also listened to obstacles that the private companies are facing, agreeing on holding such meetings with EgyptAir and the civil aviation authority periodically.
Meanwhile, the heads of Egyptian companies thanked the minister for such a fruitful meeting aiming at developing the sector.
