The Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority, led by Pilot Amr El-Sharkawy, has renewed the license of Cairo International Airport to operate as an international airport for a period of three years until 2026. This renewal aligns with the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), represented by the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority, in accordance with global specifications and international standards.
Engineer Mohamed Said Mahrous, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation, congratulated all employees of Cairo International Airport under the leadership of Accountant Magdi Isaac for the renewal of the accreditation. This renewal comes as a result of the continuous efforts of the staff to develop Cairo International Airport over the past years, consistently positioning it among the distinguished international airports worldwide.
It is worth mentioning that Egyptian airports undergo periodic inspections by the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority to ensure compliance with all international requirements and standards.
