The Ministry of Civil Aviation, in coordination with the General Administration of Human Relations and the Care of Martyrs’ Families and Injured Police Officers, along with the Egyptian Federation “Differently Abled,” organised a visit for a group of children of police martyrs and children with special needs to EgyptAir Training Academy.

The visit aimed to introduce them to various activities and services offered by the academy in different fields of civil aviation, while also allowing them to enjoy an immersive flight experience using the academy’s state-of-the-art flight simulators designed for pilot and cabin crew training.
The visitors were warmly welcomed by Sameh el-Hefny, Minister of Civil Aviation; Eng. Yehia Zakaria, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company; Capt. Walid Suleiman, Head of EgyptAir Training Academy; and Capt. Moataz Fathallah, Deputy Head of the Academy.
The minister of civil aviation emphasised that the Egyptian state always honours its martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation and remains committed to providing support and care for their families and children.

He also highlighted the special attention given to individuals with special needs by offering them comprehensive training and qualification services.
The minister further stressed the pivotal role of EgyptAir Training Academy as a prestigious training institution that combines theoretical and practical education using the latest global technologies. He expressed his joy in seeing the children participate in this tour, which provided them with a unique and enriching experience to explore various aspects of the civil aviation sector.
Tour Activities

The visit featured a range of interactive activities, including an inspection of advanced flight simulators used for training pilots and cabin crew, as well as a visit to modern classrooms equipped with the latest educational tools. The children also had the chance to experience flying through simulated flight training and learn about the duties of cabin crew members and in-flight safety procedures.
At the conclusion of the tour, participants extended their gratitude and appreciation to the Ministry of Civil Aviation for this valuable initiative, which aimed to strengthen their sense of belonging and foster a love for aviation by engaging them in a truly unique experience at EgyptAir Training Academy.
