Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Abbas met yesterday Singapore’s Ambassador to Egypt Dominic Goh, during which they discussed means of boosting co-operation between the two countries in various fields, notably in air transport.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to stimulate air and tourism movement, as well as exchange of experiences in a way that achieves the interests of the two friendly countries.
The minister of civil aviation stressed the depth of historical and strategic relations binding Cairo and Singapore in all domains.
He referred to the ministry’s keenness to consolidate co-operation, strengthen partnership and exchange expertise with all Asian countries, in a way that contributes to stimulating air traffic and tourism.
For his part, Ambassador Goh affirmed that his country is constantly looking forward to increasing co-operation with Egypt in many fields. Singapore airlines attach special importance to enhancing partnership with the Ministry of Civil Aviation and all its subsidiaries, Goh said. The Singaporean ambassador praised the great boom achieved in local air transport sector.
