Cairo Airport Company has launched a specialised training programme on Integrated Management Systems (IMS) for internal and external audits. The initiative, conducted in collaboration with Swiss-based SGS, aims to enhance training across various specialisations, improve workforce efficiency, and uphold global quality and safety standards.
Engineer Ayman Arab, Chairman of the Egyptian Airports Holding Company, emphasised the importance of human resource development as a cornerstone of the civil aviation sector’s strategy. He stated, “We strive to establish an innovative system built on efficiency and creativity to meet current demands and future challenges, ensuring our airports maintain a prominent position on the global map.”

Magdy Ismail, Chairman of Cairo Airport Company, highlighted the organisation’s commitment to workforce development as part of broader efforts to improve the work environment and deliver excellence in services while prioritising sustainable development.
The training programme covers various aspects of IMS, including Quality Management (ISO 9001), Environmental Management (ISO 14001), and Occupational Health and Safety Management (ISO 45001). It aims to enhance the skills of staff involved in quality, environment, and occupational health and safety management, ensuring they conduct audits effectively and improve overall system performance while adhering to international standards.
This initiative reflects the Egyptian aviation sector’s dedication to advancing workforce capabilities and operational excellence in line with global benchmarks.
