Cairo International Airport has recorded a notable increase in both passenger traffic and flight operations in March 2025, according to figures released under the leadership of Magdy Ishak, Chairman of Cairo Airport Company.

The airport handled a total of 2,289,881 passengers and 18,154 flights during the month – marking year-on-year growth compared to March 2024.
Outbound passenger numbers reached 1,089,892 on 9,059 departing flights, while 1,199,989 inbound travellers arrived in Cairo aboard 9,095 flights operated by a variety of international airlines.
The data shows a 7% rise in total passenger numbers, a 2% increase in total flights, 2% growth in departing flights, and an 8% surge in incoming international passengers, alongside a 2% increase in arriving flights, compared to the same month last year.
The statistics reflect the airport’s consistent growth in air traffic and its enhanced capacity to accommodate rising demand, while maintaining high service standards and providing passengers with improved comfort and convenience.
