Egypt’s Customs Authority has awarded Magdy Ishaq, Chairman of Cairo Airport Company, a Certificate of Merit in recognition of his efforts in strengthening co-operation with customs authorities and advancing strategic goals in line with international standards.
The award was presented during a ceremony marking International Customs Day, held under the patronage of Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchok and attended by World Customs Organisation Secretary-General Ian Saunders.
Ishaq was honoured for his role in fostering partnerships with the business community and government agencies, as well as his contributions to streamlining customs procedures.
His efforts have helped reduce clearance times, enhance efficiency, and promote a more sustainable work environment, supporting Egypt’s economic growth and international trade facilitation.
