Cairo Airport Company (CAC) and Egyptian Aviation Services (EAS) have entered a strategic partnership with Plaza Premium Group, a global leader in airport hospitality, to manage and market six lounges at Cairo International Airport.
Under the agreement, Plaza Premium will operate lounges across the airport’s terminals, drawing on its international expertise and award-winning hospitality standards. The lounges will be branded as “C.A.C & E.A.S by Plaza Premium Group”. The project includes the redevelopment of six existing lounges in Terminals 1, 2, and 3, as well as the seasonal terminal. Additionally, a new lounge will be created near Gate F in Terminal 3.

Engineer Ayman Arab, Chairman of the Egyptian Airports Holding Company, said the partnership aligns with the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s vision to enhance passenger services and position Egyptian airports as world-class facilities. He added that the agreement comes at a time of increasing passenger traffic at Cairo International Airport.
Magdy Ismail, Chairman of Cairo Airport Company, emphasised the airport’s commitment to improving the travel experience and solidifying its status as a leading global destination. “This partnership marks a new era for airport hospitality, with Cairo Airport serving as a vital hub for air transport in Egypt and the region. In 2024, it welcomed over 28.7 million passengers, making it the busiest airport in Egypt and Africa,” he stated.
The collaboration marks Plaza Premium Group’s official entry into the Egyptian market, expanding its footprint in the Middle East and North Africa, following recent growth in key markets such as Saudi Arabia, Kenya, and the UAE.
