Lieutenant General Pilot Mohamed Abbas, Minister of Civil Aviation, received on Thursday a delegation from the Kuwaiti College of Technology and Aviation. The delegation was led by Dr Abdul Razzaq al-Mahmoud, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the College of Technology and Aviation.
Abbas reviewed the prospects for joint co-operation between the two sides, which came in light of the distinguished relations that bind the two countries at various levels, especially in the field of air transport.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Civil Aviation has attached due importance to opening broader horizons for expanding co-operation between Egypt and Kuwait through training and exchange of experiences in various civil aviation activities.
During the meeting, the two sides also discussed mechanisms to enhance cooperation in the field of aircraft maintenance.
Following the meeting, the delegation made an inspection tour of the Egyptian Academy of Aviation Sciences in order to get acquainted with its activities and services in the field of civil aviation.
