The President of Boeing in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa, Colgate Gata-Ora, expected that the aviation sector will fully recover by next year, and that the Middle East region will witness a demand for aircraft of about 3,000 aircraft over the next twenty years.
He added that the region’s aviation sector will employ 220,000 people within two decades.
The American Boeing Company had announced that it incurred losses in the first quarter of this year amounting to 1.2 billion dollars, due to additional financial burdens that affected its activities with Russian parties against the background of the conflict in Ukraine, in addition to the losses incurred by the civil aviation sector in the wake of the outbreak of the coronavirus.
