Ayman Fawzy Arab, Chairman of the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation, congratulated Ahmed Abdel Hamid, Chairman of Aviation Information Technology (AVIT), for successfully renewing the company’s ISO 9001:2015 certification in quality management systems.
The certification, granted after an annual review of AVIT’s compliance with global standards, is valid for three years, from October 2024 to August 2027.
Ahmed Abdel Hamid stated that the company is now planning to pursue ISO 45001:2018 certification, which focuses on occupational health and safety management systems, in line with AVIT’s business activities and services provided to its clients.
The certification body, EURO CERT, commended AVIT’s senior management for its commitment to quality management and the development of its administrative systems, emphasising the use of modern methods aligned with international standards.
