Minister of Civil Aviation Sameh El Hefny has issued a decision assigning Eng. Amr Mahmoud Nagaty to serve as Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, succeeding Amani Metwaly, who was extended sincere thanks and appreciation for her dedicated efforts and valuable contributions during her tenure, with best wishes for her continued professional success.
Nagaty brings extensive experience in the civil aviation sector, having held several key positions, most notably Director General of the Office of the Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation. He also served as an Airworthiness Inspector at the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority and as Director General of the Minister’s Office.
Nagaty holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Technical Military College. He also earned a diploma in Aviation Safety from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), in addition to holding aircraft maintenance licenses on multiple aircraft types. Furthermore, he obtained a diploma in Airport Management from the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).
