Air Cairo took on the role of sponsor at the inaugural African Tourism Exhibition held at the International Conference Centre in Sharm El-Sheikh.
The conference aims to boost air travel and foster greater tourism collaboration among African nations. Air Cairo’s participation as a sponsor of the forum and the African Tourism Exhibition attracted numerous government officials, tourism experts, investors, and representatives from major travel and tourism companies worldwide.
Air Cairo hosted a booth at the exhibition, which drew significant interest from visitors and participants. The booth showcased the airline’s best promotional offers across its network, as well as its latest services and special deals. This event marked the first of its kind in Africa and Egypt, reflecting the company’s commitment to providing high-quality travel experiences for passengers to and from Egypt.
Captain Ahmed Shannan, Chairman of Air Cairo, highlighted that the company held several coordination meetings at its booth with tourism agents and tour operators. These discussions aimed to explore the most effective promotional strategies to attract more tourists. Shannan emphasised that Air Cairo is eager to offer its marketing services to support such events.
Shannan also noted that the company provided comprehensive services and necessary facilitation for forum guests arriving on its domestic flights. This initiative aligns with Air Cairo’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the Egyptian market, link it with its international network, and expand operations to include new destinations.
