Air Cairo has inaugurated a new office in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, marking a significant step in the airline’s strategy to enhance its commercial and marketing presence across the Gulf region.
The opening ceremony was attended by Hossam Hussein, Egypt’s Consul General in Dubai, along with Captain Ahmed Shennin, Chairman and CEO of Air Cairo; Ahmed Aziz, Head of Commercial Affairs; Mostafa Kamal, Chief Financial Officer; Hadi Al-Mazlawi, Chairman of Wasila Travel — Air Cairo’s general sales agent in the UAE; and Mahmoud Hegazy, UAE Sales Manager.

The move is part of Air Cairo’s broader efforts to improve customer service and expand sales operations for clients in the UAE, where the airline has seen rising demand.
Air Cairo currently operates four weekly flights between Sharjah and Cairo. The airline announced that the frequency will increase to seven flights per week starting 17 June 2025, aiming to better serve Egyptian expatriates and Emirati travellers alike.
The new office is expected to strengthen the airline’s footprint in the UAE and support its long-term growth in the region.
