While receiving the New Year messages on social media last week, we felt either up or down, happy or sad, anxious or calm.
When I read all the messages sent to me bidding farewell to 2021 and welcoming the new year, I felt hopeful. They were all wishes and prayers for a happy, brighter and prosperous New Year, inspiring for a great year ahead.
We only live once in this life. Those who pursue their dreams will fulfill them. While those who don’t will live in darkness.
Possible asked Impossible: “Where do you live?”
Impossible answered: “I live in the dreams of the pessimist and repeat with those who say that to light a small candle is better than wasting your lifetime cursing darkness.”
Each moment we live is an opportunity for us to be grateful, happy, content and ready to try new things.
We all believe that the start of the New Year is like a new beginning in our life and, so we do every possible thing to make the upcoming year better.
New Year is the perfect time to rearrange our goals in life and work towards them. It’s that time of the year which reminds us all that even though we didn’t succeed enough in the past year, there is much more to achieve in life and new possibilities will surely come our way in the year ahead.
But in case you were unable to fulfill your last year’s resolutions, then this is the right time to wipe the slate clean and start afresh.
The year 2021 went by so fast like all previous years. We have gone through hard times across the past two years of the Covid-19 pandemic and we are now embracing a whole new year when we will also laugh and cry, succeed and fail, feel good and bad. Change is the nature of life. It is full of ups and downs. Let’s learn from our failures and become more determined to succeed and make achievements in our life.
Let’s start the new year more hopeful for the future and get rid of our anxiety and anger which are “the psychological carbon” burning our time and dampen our spirits. Let’s recount the inspirational memories that keep us resilient in face of our personal and health challenges.
Let’s smile to become more content, calm and determined in our new life journey – especially as the pandemic is still there leaving people concerned for the new year.
Let’s make the years of the pandemic an experiment for resilience, a test for our mental and psychological abilities, a chance to promote our human values.
