Maj. Gen. Mokhtar Abdel Latif

Chairman of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation

Chairman of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI), Maj. Gen. Mokhtar Abdel Latif, has extended his congratulations to The Egyptian Gazette on the occasion of its 146th anniversary, describing the newspaper as a vital window through which the Egyptian state engages English-speaking audiences at home and abroad.

He praised the Gazette’s professional and objective coverage, noting its significant role in highlighting Egypt’s major national projects, comprehensive development drive, and pioneering initiatives that underscore the country’s growing regional and international standing.

Abdel Latif also commended the Gazette’s editorial team, led by Editor-in-Chief Mohamed Fahmy, for their consistent on-the-ground presence across key institutions, including the AOI.

He said this approach allows both local and international readers to closely follow the organisation’s ongoing development and advanced industrial output.

In closing, the AOI chairman wished the newspaper’s staff continued success and progress, stressing the importance of sustaining its role in showcasing Egypt’s stature and achievements across all sectors.
