Yehia Khalil will give two concerts on March 30, at Sayed Darwish theatre (Alexandria Opera) in Alexandria and on March 31, at the Small Theatre in Cairo Opera House.
The programme of the two concerts includes a variety of his works, which are distinguished by a unique taste of music that combines Egyptian music and jazz music, in addition to selections from international compositions and a group of the most famous Arabic music melodies with his own vision.
Yehia Khalil is considered the first to introduce jazz music to Egypt and the Middle East. His artistic journey continued over decades, during which he succeeded in forming a wide local and foreign audience base of various ages.
He gave more than 5000 concerts in 200 cities around the world and recently returned home after a successful tour in the United States, which included a concert in Chicago Humboldt Park on the occasion of the United Nations International Day of Peace.
