Four Egypt-Türkiye flights per day as of April

Deputy Tourism Minister, Ghada Shalaby, has held a meeting in Cairo with Mohamed Hamza Arslan, the director of Turkish Airlines.

The meeting focused on the company’s performance in the Egyptian market and its flight operations to various destinations.

Arslan said the company currently runs three flights per day from Türkiye to Cairo and plans to increase them to four per day, starting from April.

Turkish Airlines, he said, operates nine flights per week from Türkiye to Borg el-Arab Airport in Alexandria, as well as flights from Türkiye to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh.

Expanding the flight network to Egypt was the main agenda of the meeting. Luxor, a popular tourist destination, was discussed as a possible new route. The company also planned to increase the frequency of flights to Sharm el-Sheikh, and to consider flying to El Alamein during the summer season.
