Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Manar thanked all medical and nursing staff and workers at EgyptAir Hospital for their honourable dealings with the coronavirus pandemic and for standing as a wall in dealing with the crisis.
The hospital also witnessed the provision of a PCR Covid analysis work service, including a QR code as well as the provision of a rapid analysis service for the coronavirus, including a QR code in the travel hall for travellers.
Minister Manar made an inspection tour of EgyptAir Hospital, during which he was accompanied by EgyptAir chairman Amr Abu El-Enein.
During the visit, the minister inspected the various medical departments to check on the level of services provided to workers in the civil aviation sector.
The minister also followed the precautionary measures to deal with the coronavirus, stressing the need for the availability of all necessary measures to provide the highest level of care and services to preserve the medical staff and those who frequent the hospital.
During the visit, the minister inaugurated the development of the central analysis laboratories at EgyptAir Hospital, where the latest medical analysis equipment Atellica Solution was started operating in the world.
New airline route between Sohag, Abu Dhabi airports.
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi launched a new flight route between Sohag and Abu Dhabi airports in the United Arab Emirates, with two flights per week.
Seif Bahgat, CEO of Nsas Travel Group for Tourism and Aviation Services, the exclusive agent for Wizz Air in Egypt, said that the first flight will take off from Sohag airport to Abu Dhabi next Saturday, December 18, with 132 passengers on board.
He added that Wizz Air has allocated 4 modern planes to operate on the Sohag-Abu Dhabi route with the aim of contributing to reviving the movement between the two sides.
He also noted that Wizz Air managed to increase the number of its flights between Borg Al Arab and Abu Dhabi airports to reach 3 flights per week recently instead of two.
