Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has begun producing daily video clips of foreign tourists across the country as part of a new media campaign aimed at showcasing stable tourist activity and positive visitor experiences despite regional developments, the ministry said on Friday.
The campaign, carried out by the Egyptian Tourism Authority in co-operation with the Egyptian Tourism Federation and its affiliated chambers, features short filmed interviews with tourists at various destinations.
The videos are being posted on the digital platforms and social‑media channels of the ministry, the authority and the tourism chambers.

Tourism Minister Sherif Fathy is reviewing the clips regularly to gauge visitor reactions and monitor trends in tourist activity, the statement said. The ministry hopes the initiative will support efforts to improve services and enhance the overall visitor experience.
CEO of the Egyptian Tourism Authority, Ahmed Youssef, said the footage shows that Egypt continues to be perceived as a safe and secure destination. He added that the authority is seeking to document the experiences of as many tourists as possible across different regions.
