A group of diplomats and dignitaries have participated in the first gathering of the Arabian horse lovers, which was held at the Al Hakam Arabian Horse Farm in Al Haram Region. The gathering is initiated by Counselor Sameh Abdel Hakam.
Among the attendees were Dr Mostafa El-Feki, Director of Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Dr Zahi Hawass, the former Minister of Antiquities, Dr Mahmoud El-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, Ambassador Badr Abdel-Aty, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Countries Affairs, and a group of ambassadors of foreign countries, foremost among which were USA, EU, Spain, Sweden, South Korea, Slovenia, Belgium, Portugal, Colombia, Chile, Cuba, Mexico, Angola, Switzerland ambassadors to Egypt.
Dr. Samer Youssef, Eng. Ramiz Saeed, senior reporter Magda Barsoum, former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Al-Ahram, Eng. Othman Mohamed Othman, businessman Amir Adam, archaeologist Ali Abu Dashish, and Dr. Nader Riad among others, who praised the idea of Arabian horses lovers’ gathering, were also present. Both the dignitaries and diplomats were accompanied by their esteemed wives.
