Head of the New Cairo Educational Administration, Ayman Moussa, praised a decision to reallocate a plot of land for the administration where it can construct its new headquarters.
The construction of the new headquarters, he said, would enable the administration staff to relocate to it from the current temporary one in New Cairo.
The new administration headquarters will be constructed over 2,522 square meters of land.
Moussa said the reallocation of the land made the administration workers and the parents of the pupils in New Cairo happy.
Meanwhile, Education Advisor to the New Cairo Schools’ Board of Trustees, Saleh Hegazi, said the reallocation of the plot of land for the new headquarters of the administration is a culmination of what he described as ‘sincere efforts’ by parties to the educational process in New Cairo since January 2020.
He said all New Cairo Educational Directorate officials, including its head Mohamed Attia, worked hard to have this decision.
Hegazi noted that MPs Magda el-Bakri and Ibrahim Hegazi also supported these efforts.
