Gamal Al-Tanna, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PYJAMODA, revealed that soon its second branch will be established in the Mearag area of Maadi, next to Carrefour City Center, after it achieved great success since its launch in the Egyptian market through online sales through social media pages, and then opened its first branch in the DEGLA area in Maadi.
Al-Tanna added that the company is continuing to pump new investments into the Egyptian market by establishing a number of branches within the vital commercial clusters to get closer to the Egyptian consumer who wants to buy through a store and get to know the commodity and its quality before buying, and this comes after the great success of the brand. business through online sales.
Gamal El-Tanna added that the state’s encouragement, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, for youth and entrepreneurs and his support for small projects, which was reflected in many initiatives, encouraged him to implement his project, which is to establish a home clothes factory with 100% Egyptian materials, trained Egyptian workers, and products that compete with the imported foreign product, and through Egyptians designers, and Egyptian fashion houses, which are modern designs suitable for all age groups, and the price of the Egyptian product is less than the imported European product by at least 80% because the manufacturing takes place inside Egypt.
The founder of the PYJAMODA factory explained that the factory’s production is currently about 6000 pieces annually for the summer, winter and autumn seasons, and we seek to double production to 12000 pieces during the next year, after opening our branches for direct sale.
Gamal El-Tanna said: “We seek during the coming period to export abroad and open new markets through a distinctive Egyptian product that reflects the quality of the Egyptian industry and restores the glories of cotton, explaining that Egyptian cotton has a great global reputation and must return to its position through distinguished Egyptian brands that restore confidence in the EGYPTIAN product by providing a good product according to the highest standards that competes with the European product at a very competitive price that suits the Egyptian and Arab consumers, explaining that there are negotiations with traders in Saudi Arabia to import the PYJAMODA product.
Al-Tanna pointed out that the new brand PYJAMODA was launched for the Egyptian market in 2020, through e-commerce platforms on social media sites, after the expansion of e-commerce in Egypt with domestic isolation during the past year, which encouraged the new brand to enter the EGYPTIAN market through social media has achieved great success and an excellent volume of requests through the new brand pages on those sites in Arabic and English.
