A testament to the quality and excellence of Jordanian agricultural products, three Jordanian olive oil brands, Petra, Bio Jordan, and Holy Olive, have achieved remarkable success at the prestigious Al-Ahram International Olive and Olive Oil Competition. The Jordanian Ambassador to Cairo, Amjad Al-Adaileh, proudly accepted the gold awards on behalf of the winning companies in a ceremony held at the Jordanian Embassy.
The competition, held recently in Cairo, drew nearly 200 participants from across the globe, showcasing the finest olive oils and table olives. Despite the fierce competition, the Jordanian brands distinguished themselves, securing gold medals and affirming the superior quality of their products.
“This achievement underscores the dedication and hard work of Jordanian producers, who consistently strive for excellence,” stated Ambassador Al-Adaileh during the award ceremony. He received the awards from Dr. Mahmoud Hassan, President of the Al-Ahram International Olive and Olive Oil Competition, and Ms. Mirna Medhat, a board member of the competition, who both praised the exceptional quality of Jordanian olive oil.
The event not only celebrated the success of the Jordanian brands but also served as a platform for discussions on strengthening trade cooperation between Jordan and Egypt in the olive oil sector. In the presence of Dr. Alaa Al-Zyoud, the embassy’s media advisor, attendees discussed leveraging the Al-Ahram competition as a catalyst for enhanced economic partnerships.
The gold medals awarded to Petra, Bio Jordan, and Holy Olive signify more than just a victory; they represent a significant step in promoting Jordanian agricultural products on the international stage and fostering stronger trade relations between Jordan and Egypt. This achievement highlights the potential for further collaboration and underscores the commitment of both nations to supporting and developing their agricultural sectors.
