The Embassy of India in Cairo, in a collaborative effort with Egypt’s Ministry of Culture’s Cultural Development Fund, is delighted to announce the Indian Film Festival, scheduled to take place from August 10th to 13th, 2025.
This cinematic celebration will be held at the Henager Cinema in Zamalek, with daily screenings commencing at 7:00 PM.

The festival aims to showcase a curated selection of critically acclaimed Indian films, offering Egyptian audiences a captivating glimpse into the rich tapestry of Indian storytelling, its vibrant musical heritage, and profound emotional depth. Through this powerful medium, the event seeks to bridge cultures and cultivate a deeper understanding between the people of India and Egypt.

This initiative is a cornerstone of the Embassy’s ongoing commitment to cultural diplomacy, reinforcing the enduring and evolving bond between these two ancient civilizations.
The festival is not merely a celebration of Indian cinema but also a testament to the robust and flourishing cultural relationship shared by both nations.

All film screenings will feature Arabic subtitles, ensuring accessibility for a wider audience. The Embassy of India in Cairo warmly invites all cinema enthusiasts to attend this unique cultural event.
Admission to all screenings is free and open to the public, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.
