CAIRO – Romanian Health Minister Alexandru Rafila has praised the Egyptian experience in developing the health sector and the pharmaceutical industry, noting that a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that will be signed between the two countries in the health field is being reviewed.
The MoU will be signed during joint committee meetings scheduled to be held in Bucharest next week, Rafila added.
This came during a meeting held between the Romanian minister and Egyptian Ambassador to Romania Moayad Eldalie.
The meeting touched on bilateral relations and ways to bolster them, with the Romanian minister emphasizing the strength of his country’s relations with Egypt, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates said in a statement on Thursday.
Eldalie reviewed Egyptian’s efforts to upgrade the health sector, especially the pioneering Egyptian initiative to eliminate the Hepatitis C virus.
