Under the supervision of the National Authority for Tunnels, RATP Dev Mobility Cairo, the operator of Green Line 3, has announced a partnership with Baheya Foundation for Early Detection & Treatment of Breast Cancer by launching an awareness campaign among female passengers inside Green Line 3 metro stations during the month of October, which is the global cancer awareness month.
This collaboration comes as RATP Dev Mobility Cairo is eager to actively participate in social and human initiatives as part of its mission to provide passengers with the highest level of comfort and safety by organizing healthcare and awareness activities about breast cancer, symptoms, and the importance of early diagnosis by specialized doctors from the Baheya Foundation.
Eng. Wadii Bouchiha, CEO of RATP Dev Mobility Cairo, expressed his pleasure in this collaboration with Baheya Foundation to raise breast cancer awareness. He remarked that this initiative is part of the company’s strategy to empower women socially and economically via this kind of cooperation with the foundation.
Dr. Jilan Ahmed, CEO of Baheya Foundation, on the other hand, stated that “awareness is one of the major mechanisms to battle breast cancer, as the foundation strives to reach every woman at her house in every inch across Egypt, which is compatible with Baheya Foundation’s mission.” This campaign also assists us in reaching the greatest number of women who utilize the Green Line 3. The foundation also supports any partnership to benefit women in general and women fighting breast cancer in particular; this collaboration has already fulfilled this purpose, which makes Baheya support every Egyptian woman while also delivering the greatest premium services throughout the nation.”
