WASHINGTON – The overall global Covid-19 caseload reached 574,850,828 and deaths surged to more than six million cases, according to Johns Hopkins University (JHU) on Friday.
In its latest update, JHU revealed that the current global death toll stood at 6,395,527.
The US continues to be the worst-hit country recording the world’s highest number of cases that exceeded 91 million, according to JHU statistics.
