TOKYO – Japan recorded 20,779 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 7,598,247, NHK World Japan reported Thursday.
Meanwhile, 18 deaths have also been recorded over the same period, taking the death toll to 29,741 cases, while the number of critical cases at hospitals is 166.
