TOKYO – Japan recorded 22,395 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 7,803,044, NHK World Japan reported Thursday.
Fourteen deaths have also been recorded within the same period, taking the death toll to 29,500 cases, while the number of critical cases at hospitals is 183.
As many as 7,264,018 people have recovered from the viral disease since the pandemic started.
