CAIRO – Egyptian Health Minister Hala Zayed said that Egypt’s co-operation with China in facing the coronavirus pandemic is an example of solidarity among peoples in times of crises.
This came during her meeting on Tuesday with Chinese Ambassador in Cairo Liao Liqiang to discuss boosting bilateral co-operation in the health domain.
In statements, Spokesman for the Health Ministry Khaled Megahed said that the meeting took up continuing co-operation between Cairo and Beijing to face the coronavirus pandemic.
During the meeting, the minister stressed the importance of promoting partnership with the Chinese side in the field of Covid-19 vaccine production and technology transfer, the spokesman added.
