Gennecs Pharmaceuticals and Vaccines Holding Company announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Unified Procurement Authority (UPA) to establish Genevax Academy, with the aim of preparing young medical and scientific calibers and refining their skills to accelerate the vaccine industry in Egypt, so that Genevax represent the first integrated scientific manufacturing and academic system. This comes in implementation of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to support the health system and localize the vaccine industry in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the activities of the second African medical conference and exhibition, “Africa Health ExCon”, which was held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (Al-Manara Center for International Conferences), during the period from 6-9 June 2023, where the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement was witnessed by Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din – the Advisor to the President of Egypt for health and prevention affairs, Dr. Tamer Essam, Chairman of Egyptian Drug Authority and Dr. Nibal Dahba, Co-Founder & General manager Emerging markets at Gennecs Holding, and the protocol was signed by Minister Major General Doctor Bahaa El-Din Zaidan, The head of the Egyptian Unified Procurement Authority (UPA), and Mr. Adam Al-Daba, Founder and CEO of Gennecs Holding for Medicines and Vaccines.
