Dr Ahmed El Sobky, Head of Egypt Health Care Authority and supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance (UHI) at Decent Life presidential initiative, has described as unprecedented the health achievements made during the era of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
During a meeting with Singaporean Ambassador in Cairo Dominic Goh, the minister said Egypt seeks to boost its position as an international destination and a pioneer in the health investment domain.
They discussed cooperation chances and means to exchange expertise between the two countries in the health care areas.
There is a golden chance to attract local and foreign capital for investment in the health domains, said Sobky.
He said Singapore’s investments in Egypt are high in all fields, expressing hope for more cooperation in the investment domains.
For his part, the Singaporean envoy hailed the achievements made in Egypt in the health care domain.
At the end of the meeting, Sobky invited the ambassador to visit health care facilities in Port Said, Ismailia, Luxor, South Sinai, Aswan and Suez and also invited him to attend the coming medical tourism conference due to be held in Sharm El Sheikh in November under the auspices of President Sisi.
