Egyptian Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar held talks with his Iraqi counterpart Salah Mahdi al Hassnawi on Monday on the sidelines of the 59th session of the Council of Arab Health Ministers currently held in Geneva, Switzerland.
The two ministers discussed boosting joint co-operation in fields related to health, atop of which pharmaceutical industrialisation and measures to license Egyptian drugs in Iraq, said Health Ministry spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar.
They also talked about training Iraqi cadres working in the drug industry, and exchanged views about a proposal to establish an Arab drug agency, the spokesman added.
