Egyptian Higher Education Minister and Acting Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar visited El Sadat Central Hospital in Menofia Governorate to follow up on work pace, the latest upgrade in the health system, raising the efficiency and easing any hindrances facing the work flow.
The minister gave directives to renovate and raise the efficiency of the hospital via the latest medical equipment and advances to guarantee presenting special medical service due to the importance of this hospital as it serves 177,500 citizens.
Spokesman for the Health Ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said that the minister toured the departments of renal cleansing, incubators, medium and intensive care, internal rooms, emergency and reception.
The minister was keen on inspecting the rooms of patients to check on their health condition and checked the availability of medicines, medical supplies and blood storage, the spokesman said.
He also inspected the application of the preventive measures among the medical teams and the patients, the spokesman said.
The minister visited external clinics of the hospital, the spokesman said, adding that he gave directives to present medical care to a child suffering from cerebral palsy and periodically following up her case.
The hospital is built on a total area of 5,000 meters and consists of a two-storey building.
