Acino, a leading provider of high-quality pharmaceutical products and services, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) and ROEYA Training Centre to conduct training for a group of 300 young healthcare professionals on the latest gastrointestinal endoscopy techniques.
The training programme aims to provide young healthcare professionals with the latest updates in the management of acid-related diseases using modern endoscopy techniques to improve the diagnosis and quality of life of patients.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Ehab Kamal, Assistant Minister of Health for Professional Medical Education, Dr. Mostafa Ibrahim, Founder of ROEYA Training Centre and Dr. Ahmed Serag, Acino’s Egypt Country Manager.
Serag said, “We are reaffirming our commitment to providing continuous support to the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population through capability building and educational advancement of junior healthcare professionals, enhancing the process of diagnosis and management, leading to better health outcomes for Egyptian patients.”
In July 2021, Acino signed an initial MoU with MoHP and ROEYA, where the first group of 300 young healthcare professionals took part in the programme and included over 10 training sessions covering different regions in Egypt.
