The Giza Pyramids area has hosted participants in Miss Eco International contest that is held on March 6-18, under the auspices of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation affiliated with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
The competition takes place in the cities of Luxor, Hurghada and Cairo.
It is held in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program; with the participation of contestants from 65 countries from across the world.
Director-General of the Pyramids Plateau Antiquities District Ashraf Mohi el Din received the competitors and accompanied them in a tour of the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Sphinx area where they all posed for photo ops.
