Egypt’s most impactful photography and image-making festival kicked off in downtown Cairo on February 8.
The third edition is distinguished by The Legend Exhibition, commemorating late Egyptian Photographer Farouk Ibrahim.
Ibrahim started his career as an office boy at Akhbar Al Youm and then became a photographer for presidents and artists.
He was the only photographer who worked with the three presidents Nasser, Sadat and Mubarak.
Farouk’s exhibition showcases the phenomenal masterpieces of this prodigious photographer and documents his aesthetic artwork that highlights Egypt’s political, social, and artistic heritage.
Lauren Lovelace, the minister counselor for public affairs at the US embassy, praised artwork presented at Farouk’s exhibition.
One of the other top exhibitions is the Climate Change Exhibition.
The American photographer, Ed Kashi, participated in this exhibition.
