Yehia Khalil will start his new season in Egypt with two concerts that will be held at 8 pm tomorrow, November 24 at the Small Theatre of Cairo Opera House, and on Friday, November 26 at Sayed Darwish Theatre “Alexandria Opera”.

The programme of the two concerts includes a variety of his works, which are distinguished by a unique taste of music that combines Egyptian music and jazz music, in addition to selections from international compositions and a group of the most famous Arabic music melodies with his own vision.

Yehia Khalil is considered the first to introduce jazz music to Egypt and the Middle East. His artistic journey continued over decades, during which he succeeded in forming a wide local and foreign audience base of various ages.

He gave more than 5000 concerts in 200 cities around the world and recently returned home after a successful tour in the United States, which included a concert in Chicago Humboldt Park on the occasion of the United Nations International Day of Peace.
