CAIRO – Egyptian actor and comedian Soliman Eid passed away on Friday morning at the age of 63.
Scriptwriter and lyricist Ayman Bahgat Kamar announced the news on his Facebook page.
In the late 1980s, Soliman Eid began his acting career, however he made his screen debut in the iconic film El-Irhab Wal-Kabab (Terrorism and Kebab, 1992), directed by Sherif Arafa, alongside veteran actor and comedian Adel Imam.
He appearing in more than 150 works across film, TV, and theatre, starring in major films like Tuyoor el-Zalam (Birds of Darkness, 1995), El Noom fi el Asal (Sleeping in Honey, 1996), and Hammam in Amsterdam (1999).
