Ambassador of India in Cairo Ajit Guptih inaugurated the annual drawing competition (Glimpses of India) organized by the Embassy of India in Cairo in cooperation with the Ministry of Education from 12-14 December in Cairo and a number of governorates.
The competition is held annually to celebrate the close relations between Egypt and India.
The Ambassador of India praised the level of the students of the participating schools and the talents that emerged through the artworks that they implemented. Nearly 1,500 students participated in Al Hurriya Park.
The competition was organized today at the Child Center for Civilization and Creativity in Heliopolis and the Orman Park in Giza in addition to Al Hurriya Park. It will be organized tomorrow at the Teachers Club in Tanta, Gharbia Governorate, and the Zagazig Military Secondary School in Sharkia. The competition will conclude on Wednesday, December 14, at the Lycée Al Hurreya in Alexandria and the Hamed Gohar Official Language School in the Red Sea Governorate.
