CAIRO – Egyptian Youths and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi headed Thursday for the Cameroonian capital, Yaounde, to attend the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) semi-final between Egypt and Cameroon.
The move comes as part of the minister’s keenness to support the Egyptian national team’s players and motivate them.
On Thursday at 9 pm Cairo time, Egypt and Cameroon will face each other in the semi-finals of the AFCON.
The match will bring the Egyptian team closer to the eighth Africa Cup of Nations title.
