The Youth and Sports Ministry held on Friday a panel discussion on public diplomacy as a part of the third edition of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, under the auspices of the president.
The discussions tackled the role of cultural diplomacy and Egypt’s efforts to preserve heritage and culture, the importance of strengthening the bonds of relations between peoples and upholding the language of communication and acceptance of the other, as well as the pivotal role of cultural diplomacy.
The attendees, including youth leaders from Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America, touched on the deeply-rooted Egyptian-Uzbek ties.
In the third edition, the fellowship seeks to highlight the role of Non-aligned youth in developing South-South cooperation in light of a rapidly changing world and how to develop this cooperation through youth as an effective and sustainable mechanism with a focus on the role of women.
