CAIRO – Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi witnessed Thursday the signing of a co-operation protocol between the ministry and the Faculty of Disability Sciences and Rehabilitation, Zagazig University, on promoting activities of people of determination in line with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives in this regard.
The minister said as per the protocol, the two sides would co-operate in joint programmes through sport activities that have wide impact on further mingling of disabled into the society.
The agreement also aims at disseminating awareness of the ministry’s role in support of honing skills and abilities of disabled people, he said.
The faculty would also participate in all sport activities organized by the ministry of sports for disabled.
For his part, the president of the university highlighted the Stat’s efforts in line with the political leadership directives to meet needs of disabled categories and provide them with all services covering the academic and activities fields.
