CAIRO- Since its inception in 2017, the World Youth Forum has evolved into a critical global platform for discussing international issues from a youth perspective and formulating solutions, with the goal of achieving peace, encouraging creativity, and supporting sustainable development through recommendations that are translated into successful and effective initiatives and programs, Executive Director of the National Training Academy (NTA) Rasha Ragheb said Saturday.

The fifth edition of the World Youth Forum (WYF) will not be conducted in its traditional yearly format in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El Shiekh and it is to direct its sponsorship rights’ revenues to implement a large package of development initiatives, projects, and programs that directly support citizens and young people inside and beyond Egypt, she added in a press conference.

UN Resident Coordinator in Egypt Elena Panova said the organization will launch the “Learning to Earn” project within the fifth edition’s new format.

Also, former minister of emigration Nabila Makram said that her psychological support initiative (Fahem) will also participate in a program to provide support to psychopaths’ families.

She lauded President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s extraordinary commitment to youth development.

In turn, 5th WYF General Coordinator Basant Diaa El-Din said the forum focuses on three main axes: peace, development and creativity.
