CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem el Gazzar said work is underway for setting up 2,040 housing units inside 85 buildings in 6th of October City.
The move falls within the framework of the “Housing for all Egyptians” presidential initiative, with the average construction rate of buildings recording 60 per cent, Gazzar added in press statements Friday.
This comes as part of the New Urban Communities Authority’s participation in the State’s plan to offer distinguished housing units that are suitable for all income brackets, he noted.
The minister pointed out that the project is carried out on an area of 70 feddans.
