CAIRO – The World Health Organisation (WHO) representative in Cairo Naima El-Qusayr described the partnership with the Arab Medical Union as close and well-established.

Qusayr’s remarks came on the sidelines of a signing ceremony of an agreement between the the Arab Medical Union and the Arab Association for the Development of Pharmacists.

Hailing the agreement, Qusayr said that the agreement is of special importance as it came in light of promoting co-operation and partnership between the various Arab institutions in order to achieve sustainable development goals.

The agreement aims at holding training courses and workshops that help develop scientific, technical and administrative skills for health workers in the Arab world, and healthcare providers.
