CAIRO – Presidential Adviser for Health Affairs Mohamed Awad Tag-Eddin said the World Health Organization (WHO) did not announce about a coming pandemic after the coronavirus, but it warned in general for people to be ready for future emergencies.
During a phone call with Al Nahar satellite channel recently, he said when there is a new pandemic, the WHO will declare details about it.
Meanwhile, he referred to Egypt’s great achievement in confronting hepatitis C and B viruses and having the ability to develop medicine for C virus.
He said Egypt got licenses for manufacturing C virus at good prices to help millions of people.
