Vatican Prime Minister Cardinal Pietro Parolin congratulated Egypt for hosting the United Nations Climate Change (UNCCC) COP27 and lauded the organisation of the event.
During a meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on the sidelines of COP27, currently held here, the cardinal lauded Egyptian-Vatican co-operation in spreading the value of tolerance and boosting dialogue among religions.
Meanwhile, Madbouli lauded distinguished ties and mutual appreciation between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Pope Francis of Vatican, pointing out to Egypt’s keenness on resuming coordination with Vatican at the various levels.
He also lauded the positive stances of Pope Francis toward Egypt, in addition to Arab and Islamic countries.
The premier welcomed establishing Bambino Gesù hospital in the New Administrative Capital, that was declared on October 3, adding that the Egyptian government is ready to press ahead with implementing the project and present all needed facilitations.
