SHARM EL SHEIKH- The US Congress delegation participating in the United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP27, visited the Culture Ministry’s pavilion erected in the Green Zone in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El Sheikh.
The congress members purchased a number of products showcased in the pavilion and spoke to the exhibitors about the techniques of producing traditional handicrafts, according to a statement released by the Culture Ministry on Sunday.
The ministry noted that Ghada Wali, the executive director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and director-general of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), visited the pavilion and bought a wide selection of Akhmim authentic products.
